Midweek football ***Spoilers***

Grr...

Saved a microwave meal (nice and easy) so that I could watch KP in bat. As soon as the door dings he gets out.

Now tonight's match is postponed as well. Bah.
 
300, and by the time they cancelled I bet more Arsenal fans were on their way already. It did sound like sensationalist reporting but apparently their fans' associated was a bit miffed. :p :confused:
 
It did seem pretty obvious pretty early it would be too difficult to hold the game, good on Arsenal for reimbursing them, though will be difficult for guys like Foz to get money back for petrol I'd think, more the people on official club coaches.

Bit odd though, considering the pretty damn short distance from the stations to the ground it shouldn't be that hard to get grit put down from transport links to the ground, with most of the trains underground it all seems a bit weak when you've got over a day to grit a few dozen roads(that probably should be done anyway?).

Bah, I'm just missing my football, not had my midweek fix and looks like my weekend fix will be weak if non existant.
 
So seeing as the Arsenal game with Bolton was postponed...does anyone know when its going to replayed?? or is it a case that we will get a point along with Bolton out of it and the game wont be played??.
 
Of course it will be replayed! What an odd thing to think. They just need to arrange a free date. 20th Jan is a good bet.
 
I read somewhere that the reason the game was called off was because not enough Arsenal stewards called ahead to say they could make it, so it had to be called off because of some H&S certificate
 
Indeed that is true. Once the snow came down most of them decided they wouldn't be able to get to the ground, or get home. So they couldn't get the required safety certificate for the game.
 
That's fair enough I suppose. It's not like it's their full time job, or even well paid, or even a particularly great job.
