Midweek football ***Spoilers***

Goodwill gesture and good on them for doing it. It's not cheap travelling half the country, taking time off work, etc.

Would Bolton do that for us? I doubt it. Do clubs do it for other fans anyway?

Are Arsenal giving money back to their own fans. As said already in this thread, there were probably more of us on the way when the notice went out.

It's not like we deliberately set out to rip them off. We had an unforcasted snowfall against weather advice given that day; the match was cancelled later on.

Doesn't matter that Bolton (or probably any other prem club for that matter) wouldn't, it's classy by Arsenal and proves that football clubs occasionally do nice things at their own expense ! Lovely gesture imo.

Classy yes, but still I think totally unnecessary. It's not like we're rolling in cash and of course it matters whether Bolton would have done the same to us.

It's unfortunate, and I do feel sorry for the Bolton fans but I still would have preferred the club to give nothing more than an apology (even though things were out of their control). And there still is the matter of whether our own fans have been given money. We should be compensated as well if anybody is to be.

Liverpool cancelled :(

Shame because I was going to see them as a present. I love watching live football :(

EDIT - Ah, wrong thread I think? Sorry chaps.
