Woo.

Arsenal kick off in Holland in a bit. Should be good. If we can sew up this group now then that makes for three easier midweeks later on.

We have no Rosicky and Theo, plus we're without e.g. Nasri our other long term absentees.

Liverpool 11 according to Sky (nothing official yet):
---------Reina
Kelly-Carra-Agger-Insua
-----Lucas-Mash
Kuyt---Gerrard---Benayoun
---------N'Gog

It has been reported that Johnson is out on a few forums so that is likely to be the correct side.

Nasri and Fabianski both play tonight for the reserves though :)

It's his knee apparently (not connected to the older problem).

Only out for a couple of days, It's a bit much to expect him to play twice in 3 days after 18 months out imo.

I can't decide whether to watch Liverpool or Aresnal!

I think Liverpool will play a better match with Gerrard, but with Torres out still they may struggle still. If they lose, then Benitez might be out soon!

Think Liverpool might be in trouble tonight looking at that team. I reckon Arsenal will get a comfortable 2 or 3 nil.

I'm looking forward to this :)

Should be a good game, Alkmaar are a decent team and I'd say they are the best of the opposition we've got in this group. That said I think we should trounce them. I didn't see the line ups, can anybody please fill me in here by any chance? :)

I don't know why Diarrhea is playing. He's not one that I rate whatsoever and we could be playing Ramsey or somebody who deserves a start instead of a sub appearance. :(

It's alright, early days. If even we have a bad night in front of goal I don't mind it as this match is loseable if that makes any sense.

Edit - it's a bit annoying their home kit is virtually identical to ours.:p
