Yeah I get it, it's not a must win game for us but if we do win then it does make the other mid week games easier for us.

It's almost identical... but not as sexy obviously.

Haven't had that much praise for him this season but I have to say Song looks really good tonight.

But look at the opposition, as much as he has improved from the start of last season we still need much better quality in that area imo.

Liverpool game is a bit 'meh' scraped a goal, should have had two but no real improvement on Saturday's performance for me.

That said, strangest thing just happened. Watching the footy and there is a knock at the door, I answer it and it's a bloke and his kids all dressed in Man U shirts.

Bloke says they have just moved in across the way and wanted to introduce himself, it's his kids birthday and they are going to be having a water fight in a min so there may be a bit of noise outside. He went on to add I could join in if I liked. Although its cold and dark, I am not being a party pooper I said of course and I would be out in a bit.

Just posting this while waiting for the kettle to boil now...

First 20mins we looked poor but after Gerrard came off we really stepped it up and should be more than 1 up. Kelly looks more than comfortable which wasn't a real suprise, he looks like he's got a decent future ahead of him.

Bit of a nothing performance so far, Song has probably been the stand out, mopping up well and made some incisive drives forward too. Cesc been shocking apart from the goal. Diaby non existant again, Ramsey will be the perfect player for his position so i dont know why he isnt getting a chance.

And the poor guy got booked for being kneed in the head, not a good night for him. Hope he's alright, always best to be safe and take a possible concussed player off, it really was some knock on the head he got.

Mate brought his little one around the other day, only 4 months, dressed in a United baby grow. He gave me the little lad to hold after he fed him and the kid started crying. Mate said he just needed winding and I could do it if I liked.

Thought that was a bit much so just gave it a dead leg.
