Been offered 2 tickets to go see Arsenal vs Olympiakos next week...not really sure if ill go although im itching to go see them play...tickets arent that great ie in the top tier of the stadium.

Hmmm £40 a ticket though...

The tickets are going to cost you £40?

To be honest, you could probably get a similar atmosphere at home watching it on telly ;)
Will be a cheaper night, probably a better view.

Just out of interest: how did you get offered them? Arsenal's ticket system is such a pain in the bum I don't even bother trying any more because I'll never be able to get a ticket for a decent game (Top 4, European, etc.).

Why not start a Spoiler for the last day of the season. It's about as relevant.

General Sale :) It's hardly a glamour tie. Olympiacos are average.

Well, I'll be lucky to go this side of Christmas due to expenses, but I'd love to go to the latter games. Unfortunately they all seem to sell out at club/whatever level these days. To my shame, I've never been to a match and I'm old enough and in a position to change that now, so I'd like to. My favourite games are the higher profile glamour ones if I'm honest. I support my team through and through obviously, but I'd rather see Arsenal vs. xyz in Europe than Sunderland in the Carling Cup, etc. The football in my opinion is better to watch at the higher levels and the atmosphere just seems so awesome.

Thats what im thinking...plus the seats ive been offered arent the greatest but i guess the atmosphere of the stadium would make up for it

A mate of mine got hold of 2 through the general sale but he cant make it so has offered them to me...told him im not so sure as the seats from what i can see arent that great ie top tier behind the goal...id rather be seated where i can see all the action ie on the side:p.

mmmm, not great seats, but it's a chance to watch your football team live! which is never a bad thing.

The new ground doesn't have a brilliant atmosphere, but it's a champions league night, could liven up a bit ;)

Or you could save yourself some cash, watch it from the comfort of your own home, with a much better view :)
