Midweek Football Thread. *spoilers* 25-27

What a prat of a ref we had at our game tonight, we had three players sent off, he gave S****horpe a pen after the ball had curled out during a corner, we had two players that had to leave the pitch with injuries after we had used all our subs, leaving with only 6 players on the pitch, then instead of calling the game off he demands that one of the injured players comes back onto the pitch so that the game can end.

Can see us appealing and getting the game replied, where do they get these people jeeze.
lol biased much?

Good win for the Boro boys, roll on the 3rd round, now we just got to take this winning form from the league cup into the Championship, don't want a relegation dogfight all season long.

Roll on Palace on Monday, that match is also being shown on Sky Sports, I could be shown in the crowd in HD, surely thats not fair on anyone watching :D

Didn't realise Minty off Enders was there

Arsenal
v Celtic
Olympiacos v FC Sheriff
Stuttgart v FC Timisoara
West Brom v Rotherham
Newcastle v Huddersfield
Doncaster v Tottenham
Cardiff v Bristol Rovers
Hibernian v Brechin

£5 on this selection tonight, should be a goer hopefully.

Around 11/1

i don't think Celtic have scored that many away goals in europe in 2 seasons :o

We hadn't won a game away in Europe in years either, but here we are.:D

Saying that, I expect us to lose heavily tonight.

On the plus side, I think we're good enough for a UEFA Cup run.:)

Anything less than the Final and BTM can GTF:mad:

Meh feel a bit **** about the Port Vale result last night :(

Ah well.

 at the West Ham V Millwall game ! Not seen anything like that for a long time. Honestly can't see the FA doing that much about it.

Indeed, nothing to do with the god knows how many Millwall fans scrapping with them :/

Not saying that it was all West Ham fans, I've not yet herd anything about the Millwall fans so far, watching it on Sky Sports now. 13 arrests ? only ?

Reporting that this won't affect our bid for the World Cup.

Jeffers (who averages 4 goals a season :p) is on the transfer list apparently, after nutting the Port Vale captain last night. ( a proper head butt, with lots of blood )

Port Vale's first goal was a cracker.

Millwall fans did start fighting with police in the ground - nothing major, but let's not start making out that they were all well behaved angels!

I think most of the trouble was caused by sets of West Ham and Millwall fans outside the ground without tickets.

Usually I'd agree - but I have seen a few occasions of fans fighting amongst themselves when they're wound up & have nothing else to hit!

hahaha ! happened on the first day of the season at Wednesday :D

Some young lad near ish me, started been abusive, some old man told him to pipe down the lad told him to do one, and punched him, the old man pwnd him. :p

Couple of seasons ago similar thing happened, but with lots more people :(

Funny old world, eh ? Football fans of the same club fighting.
