Midweek Football Thread *spoilers and all that*

A fit Lucas is better than a non fit Aquilani. I think this game is ideal personally, a decent side to test his skills against rather than Blackburn who have only lost once at home.

I do want to see Silvestre play as he was very impressive the other day, want to see if that was a one off or if he's maybe back to form which could make him a very useful player this year.

LOL, as usual dont agree with any of your post but this is priceless :D. He constantly gave the ball away, at least 5 times he cleared straight to the opposition keeper, he nearly got himself sent of as he completely misjudged the flight of the ball which hit him on the back and had to chop someone to not give away a 1 on 1 situation. He made approximately 3 good tackles but was otherwise his usual self.

Need a point to top the group, as I understand it, otherwise we'd go through in second based on head to head results

Going to watch West Brom Cardiff tonight, two high scoring teams. Hopefully the attendances will be high even though it's an evening game.

Hospitality and free booze also! Woo!

Going to be an interesting match tonight with our one recognised defender. :D The month of December will certainly be interesting, hopefully Vidic and one of the twins can make the weekend game.

You Arsenal fans are obsessed with the ages of your players, you don't get medals for fielding young'uns. :p

Hmm, as a neutral Juve/Bayern's the pick of tonight's matches isn't it?..

Thing is I can see it being a right old dull affair. Whereas e.g. the Group C matches maybe full of goals.
