They may only be a few of them but they are always the most vocal. The rest of us non-deluded fans realise we are and have been a mid table team for a while, regardless of the players we have or had. We could have the same players as Barcelona but I bet we'd still never win the league

I didn't mean to tar you all with the same brush as there are several Toons on here who speak sense and realise how **** you are sometimes.

Then you have the flip side of people like toon mad (so apt) who will argue all night about how you should be in the top 5 :/

I don't ever remember Newcastle being a top 5 team, they had one great season where they ran us close but that was it, if we are going off that criteria Leeds and Villa should still be considered top teams!

Both teams are toss really, it's not like Villa have been in the top 5 recently.

That was likely the drink talking last night, i know we are a ***** team, have been since about 2001 or something, but as a proud fan it hurts to see us throw it all away in the last decade after what keegan and robson did the first time around, the mid to late 90's was exciting for us, it all went downhill after that really.

All we can do now is look to getting back in the premier league and build from scratch and work our way up. I dont care how we get the points to get up as long as we keep doing what we doing, although a lot of the times we have just scraped wins.

Still, good to see boro doing rubbish.
