Did you see what Valencia did then?

He stopped in front of the defenders because he was never getting past, then played a simple ball to Neville to get the cross in.

Nani would have run straight into both of them and then appealed for a free kick.

That's the difference.

Cheets Little experiment for you. Get a football and one of your mates. Stand in a goal mouth and get him to belt your shins and take your legs from under you and still get your shot in. Report back here with the results.
