Miele really worth it?

What's the difference between all the models of Drict Drive by LG? Seeing a few different ones around the £500 mark.

Also seeing a true steam model, these better than 'normal' direct drives?

Just purchased a LG direct drive 315 quid from appliances direct very quiet machine indeed.

My parents have had a Miele for years, it cost £800 but i think we have had 2 or 3 machines in the same time - its utterly silent and clearly engineered to far higher standards than the run of the mill Bosch etc we have had.

If you have the extra cash up front they are very much worth the money.

Our Miele is quality workmanship, but I don't think it washes any better than the next. IMHO, it's not a black and white question... I think it depends on the model, price and warranty. We paid about 750 for a model normally retailing for 1200, and it included a 10 year warranty.

Washer and dryer installed, really impressed. When my Bosch dishwasher gives up I'll be getting an LG one.
