Militant secularisation threat to religion, says Warsi

Maybe it is time for some actual militant secularism then....

Or maybe it is time for equality, rather than militancy on either side. Most opening rituals and the like are unnecessary fluff anyway, so the important thing is to ensure that people on both sides have freedom to do what they want during these pointless activities.

A far more pressing issue is that we still don't have adequate protection against opinion based lawmaking and taxation, whatever the source of the opinion. a movement to required evidence based law creation and retention would do far more to improve the country, including preventing religious views from getting special treatment, than anything else.
