Gars needs to see who been at the chests as it isn't on at all and who ever the thief is needs to be booted.

true but as a system it's very good, we'll just have to refine it for the world of minecraft

they can both be straight, it wouldnt make a lot of difference to where the substations would end up

the yellow lines are straight 9in line with blocks) it's the title ones that aren't

well i ain't even started yet, running about with a wool block scared to punch a tree in case it's 'someone's tree'.

don't think i'll fit in on this server

just find an empty space and claim it yours. so long as its right next to someone you'll be ok.

Plenty of space you just need to move away from spawn and you won't have an issue, sone of us started at the old spawn which was South of the current spawn point,the map from fable shows a lot of places claimed and the land should have signs on to say who owns it if is hasn't then it's free game to build.

Just claim the land with signs stating your name and date claimed.

As the others have said, it is a huge map so find a spot away from spawn, remember you can use /sethome to set you home location, then use /spawn if you want to return to the town and /home to get back to where you set it. Simples

the map is huge . pick a spot and it its not obviously reserved (like mine is - cobble stone marks the plot out and there are 4 lit signs telling people its reserved by me) then you are good to go. i've made the mistake of clearly a load of land and not marking it as reserved, only for somebody else to build on it.

its not something i will repeat again
