This is a long shot, but does anyone fancy mirroring the London Underground onto our world map? That way we already have a design to work with, and we can adjust the stations as necessary... I'd love to have that from 10-30 blocks deep, depending on the line, and then have steps outside to a station.

If we did that, we'd have plenty of stations and most people would know what to do.

I can do a mock-up on the Cartographer map.

The main problem if you have 1 track is if someone is going East as you are going West...lol

Underground railways have no mob problems either.

We should start with, as said,. north east south and west. After that we should look at a map of the decide the best way to place child-stations which our houses will link to. I'll be happy to do the first 'plan' on the next cartograph, after that we can check for revisions to get a nice build.

lol, trouble is, nearly all of us are located in a small area compared to that tube map.

I think so long as we pick a single depth to be used it should be ok.

Me and my bro will be up for joining our gaff to apez's and across to reactions then heading in the direction of Spawn.

We already have a station built at ours. Just need to track it.

We 'need' child stations aside from our own personal ones. Reason being I don't want to have to go to spawn to get to Apez's place. We'll lay out a simple system ... example

I'd be up for a subway system. Definitely would look nicer than skybridges. Maybe some kind of DLR style thing?

well i started making a tunnel from the dwarf place to spawn while ago, so far it's about halfway though the sea near old spawn.

Right guys, ive gone back to my chests in my house and noticed a load of stuff missing. If this is what its gonna be like im not gonna bloody bother

Yeah, I noticed some things were missing from a chest of mine also. But lesson learnt, and rarer items I have are now in vault. Its a shame really, but unnavoidable.

Oh on the topic of vaults I've been retarded and labelled mine tefal42 in stead of tefal12 so now i can't get in >.<

I used the old charter, but this isn't 100% how it needs to be. I identified all the houses I could see.

Red Star = house.
Orange lines = sub line
Orange circle = sub station
Yellow line = Main line

Notice how nothing goes direct to yellow. That's a no no.

each yellow station will have the signs for how to get to the specific players house.

I like that a lot, FabienO. a central point in spawn with 4 directions only, heading towards substations is ideal, it's something i'd thought about for a while and was the original intention for the station on the last server

I don't think that needs changing much at all

edit: oh except the one line that runs north west (as you look at the carto) which runs straight through my plot of land near spawn

the bottom right red one the centre star building(big square in the sea doesn't need a station.

An that yellow line from the spawn to the old spawn direction is about 40 blocks to the left of the tunnel i'd started
