Someone was on earlier saying their iron and gold was stolen. Then later their friend came on and said they used it to build their railway system....

Yeah, I'm not entirely convinced by people claiming they've had their stuff stolen. Some areas have a few people working on them, so I wouldn't be surprised if stuff gets taken from their chest to further the project, and they just forgot to tell them about it. Also I think people sometimes forget exactly what they have in their chests - I have 8 or so, and I don't know exactly what's in them.

Its a non-issue anyway, if you are seriously worried about your stuff, put it in the bloody vaults; thats what they are there for.

Tefal, I've had 3 stacks of arrows. Payment is in the first crate.

It also looks like the shop thief has owned up and places some sort of payment in the same crate.

i took 10 tnt and put 5 gold in. the shop owner knew.

to be honest i didn't really read the signs until i saw several people say the word "shop" a few times...

i rectified it. shut up. calling me "the shop theif", cheeky **** lol

edit: wasn't the same crate, stuck it in with the arrows cos i forgot what it was i took.

I have just started building at the red dot. Haven't got much of any thing yet (where are you coal).

No idea who else is around that area yet, didn't see anyone outside of spawn when I was on.

My place is to the east just under the In Progress sign, I'll build a station there for my place and hopefully help with that line if I have time. Moving to London on monday tho!

Edit : Superb way to end the night on it, for some reason when I teleported to my home it killed me. Lost around about 300 Glass, 25 Iron, 10 Gold, all my tools etc. :/

i apologise in advance for the Lava Moat which i will be installing at my house tomorrow (the water house)

i stood and counted 55 mobs all around my gaff, gets a bit overwhelming when you can only swing that sword so fast. so i must kill them with lava.

lava is progress, buckets of hot progress.

It's worth mentioning that you can build your station at ground level, but make the tracks at Y coord 53. This will make joining them all up easier.

If you are to have your track at a higher/lower level, as Gar has said, you can't go in different height directions within a stretch of 50 track.

IE you can go down as much as you like, but as soon as you go horizontal, you must go 50 blocks before changing height again.

Y: 53 is about 11 blocks below sea level btw.

Press F3 to see Y coord.

I've already linked my place with reaction/rizo and laid the track with kind assistance from Reaction, the track continuing on from my place has the potential to link up with OcUK_Andy89 who is building a rollercoaster a place no doubt many will wish to catch the train to play on

On the track I was building on we stopped to explore this huge cave system, anyway somehow I died in lava despite not going in the lava and lost all my stuff, dad went to bed and turned the router off so I could not get to find em

If anyone found the stuff if you would be so kind could you give me the stuff back?

I do! The little brick building in the sea, I know peterattheboro lives in the mountains near there too. Going to join up my house to Tefal's station, if I can locate it!

the main thing is just don't make any up slope harsher than 1 in 4/3

Great, I'm not sure what to do with the people in that 'Who lives here?' area. Fabien didn't want people connecting to the main track, but it would be a bit silly to make you all connect to the South station as it's just a waste of time and track.

TBH, it's up to you guys. The only rule is you aren't allowed to join onto the yellow line directly, you have to go through a station (yellow blob). However, this doesn't prevent you from making an overground service from spawn to the houses around it.

I don't know really...

This was discussed earlier, I don't really understand why garsands wants this. We've already broken the rule in quite a few places. The majority of track will be straight and a few blocks deep , it's hardly any effort at all to connect tunnels up. My only reason for -11 was to ensure you are under sealevel, but those who were doing the line from spawn to east station had to go a bit deeper because of falling sand/gravel.

garsands also mentioned he wanted a lot of it above ground... if this is to be used as a transport system, underground is much much safer, providing that it is sufficiently lit.

I propose this: Lines from spawn to N/E/S/W stations underground, as we have already started those. Lines from station to station and station to house should be overground so that people can take in the scenery in that area. I know Reaction has a few sections overground already.

I'm currently blasting a tunnel from my house to Tefal's station. I'll then make a seperate cart system to my house & any others if they want to join in
