Gar, moost of what you have been experiencing comes with the job mate. whether its being a server admin or a forum admin - how many times do people ask questions on forums like these, even though the answer is in the FAQ or a stick or even both? you'll always get it.

You've done a great job, don't let peoples frustrations get to you as very few of us have ever levelled anything against you personally. most people know it isnt the host causing problems and it isnt you causing problems - there's no need to take it personally mate.

Chin up and it'll work out mate. Get an admin team onboard again, let them handle most of admin task, helping people out on the server ect, and that'll free your time up and (hopefully) leave you with the server-side tasks (modding, configurations and such) and time to build also.

Server is staying up Windle has wanted to host a minecraft server so he will keep it going. He would have been the guy that I would have given it to.

Your payment is safe you will stay on the list.

I'll be starting a new server thread with rules etc, for now little will change whilst i get stuck into clanforge. The majority of rules will be staying the same but new thread will detail what the score is.

Anyone who has paid will remain on reserved list and will sort out when the time expires what the new policy is.
 
So logged in today and noticed someone had raided one of my chests as I have not yet moved it over to my vault. I didn't think I'd need to do it on this server because foolishy I trusted everyone.

So thanks to whoever took my diamonds, gold, redstone, iron (which I was going to donate for free to rizo anyway for the railway) and a few other bits and bobs.
 
To honor my promise of part refunds if I should no longer be running the server.
I have refund everyone bar Windle (as you have a months pre paid server) £1.50 & Damien I have refund you £4.50 back.The player who paid with eCheque when it clears I will do the part refund.
The server has been paid for by myself from yesterday for one more month it renews on 04/02/11 then its up to the new owner to keep payments going.

Yes all the hassle I was getting does come with the job of running a server, but please remember it was a job I never wanted I was just the guy who did what everyone was talking about doing for weeks.
That was to start up a OcUK minecraft server.
