Finally finished this next to Eden. Had to move a hill out of the way, and then sculpt the one behind it. Still not perfect but oh well. :p

If you go into my little house thing under the M, down the mine shaft right to bottom, and carry on until the end, I've actually dug to the bottom of the map and beyond. If you drop through the warp hole thing located there, it sends me to the sun and moon. :p Stargate tbh.
 
8 pillars done so far. :)

I think the hardest part is going to be getting the materials.

The cobble stone isn't so bad, but you need 40 coal per pillar to get the refined stuff. And that's only when the furnaces aren't bugging out and eating stuff.:(

Yes but with the amount of refined stone we have got to make, I don't think we are going to have enough iron to make the buckets. (13800 just for the pillars).

13800 / 100 = 138 buckets * 3 = 414 Iron (and that is with optimal furnace use)

Then factor in that we will need to make the roof and all of the inner pillars and inner rooms as well.

As such, I think we will have to become "greener and more energy concious" and use wooden planks.

Quick multiplayer question. Do seeds work in the same way as single player? I threw some tree ones down and left them for a few day / night cycles, nothing happened.
