Hell give me £15.00 you can have 10 slots
& rent them out yourself for £2.00 each

Put your Parthenon on youtube & charge people 50p each to logon give them a 30 mins kick timer to take a tour.
Build a three block wall around add a mod that stops people moving the blocks of the Parthenon, wall & ground

Am i missing something clearly obvious
Say i have something like this 2 wood one on top of each other as it says and try to make sticks

Using a 4 block thing though, how do you actually create the things though from it? (get the output)

Click the output. In that case the stick. It should appear under your mouse pointer and you can then place it in your inventory.
If that's what you meant?
