Mini keyring-sized digital camera/camcorder

Im still working on decent way to mount it to outside the car and not have crazy wind noise. :(

Celotape over the hole? or some form of clear protector, should take away the wind noise with little hinderence to the volume and pickup, OR you could do the above and put pin holes in it to allow more audio pickup, im not sure that will work still waiting on mine to test the above. :)

so far I have a small box and have lined it all with wool to try muffle it will try your suggestion if my box fails lol.

to all the people trying to stop wind noise, it wont be easy. location sound recordists use huge windbreaks (rycote make some nice ones), and these tend to only be effective with winds up to 10 or 20mph. to stop the wind at 60mph would require something crazy, i dunno what. what sound do you want to record, engine noise? consider using 2 cams, 1 for video, 1 for sound, these things are so cheap.

The sound of my rap music!!

I'll upload a video later this evening as I have done a recording over lunch of me playing with myself.

I mean my phone!

haha, i guess a car windscreen makes the best form of windbreak for the mic ;) i don't have a cam myself, but if i did, i'd probably use it in the cabin and not attached to the bumper if i wanted to get anything other than windnoise.

You still get sound issues when mounted in the car, for some reason like when going over a bump the mic will suddenly spaz and sound like it's normalising back up when playing the video back - it's because the road noise cancels out the ambient noise.

It doesn't help that I have low profile tyres and sports suspension so every noise noise is exaggerated even more.

Mine arrived today from OP's post. Very impressed with how small and light it is! Need to order a memory card so will this one be ok.

Now have nothing to record from after my bike getting nicked :(

Just orderd 4 of these from the OP's post, for myself and others in work. Cant wait to try it out on my RC Car in the fields.

That cat cam looks prety cool maybe ill give that a go as well. :)

Are they just the thumbnails? or the whole movie?

Its the whole movie thats coming out like that for some reason ... i think i may have a dodgy one.

Also it wont turn off, i press the off button for 5secs or so and the light just stays on, i gotta reset it to turn it off  ... damn thing lol
