What's the consensus on a Xiaomi with 1.0.0.7 firmware? I've been offered one for £150, person opened it and had a change of heart.

From what I can see, there doesn't appear to be any issues with the panel.

my first monitor is on 1.0.0.7
if you use my settings you won't have the red tint issue

Great, thanks! Worth a punt then? I'm tempted to go with it whilst I await my Titan Army monitor. I can always sell one on I guess.

Well the Xiaomi arrived today. The monitor looks great out the box. However, I'm using my iGPU. I fired up the PC first thing this morning and was greeted with a no post and VGA light on. Reseated the GPU and it fired up again but has since come back. Not sure if it's the motherboard or GPU yet. Just my luck. Honestly!!

I can't justify the cost of one to be honest. I toyed with it at the start but couldn't bring myself to spend the cash.

Well after fannying about with the GPU issue, I've spent some time with the monitor. It looks great apart from the dead pixel bang in the middle of the screen. Looking at pictures the seller sent me, The cursor is placed quite clever over the pixel using the black outline of the cursor. I think I shall try and return it.

Yeah I can't really un-see it now. I've messaged the seller. I'll see what comes of it. Looks like he is selling a few so I presume he is buying them, Testing them, Finding something he isn't happy with and selling on.

He's offered a partial refund and to keep the monitor for £90. Not sure if it is worth it though as it will likely linger in my thoughts.
