Wow that's a tiny logo then
Even with your usual quality photos
And zooming in it still looked like a drip lol
Maybe on pc with bigger screen I would have been able
To see it properly

Never occurred to me it would be painted brass
And not plastic/petg doh!
But yeah I would worry about long term use too

Its the bokeh from the camera lens and the settings so you definitely wouldn’t see it haha. I’ll get s proper picture of it so you can see what i mean.

Definitely chromed tubes. I can live with the white of the fittings not matching because they're not that big. I'd fear if you start adding the white tubes then the differences in white between the case and pedestal and the fittings and tubing becomes more apparent, making the former look almost cream.

The chrome really breaks it up, plus I personally like the idea of the tubes being their own thing aesthetically. Originally Asteria II was going to be just black and silver, but recently changed it to blue coolant so the tube runs are their own thing and add a little something to break up the near solid black interior. If she's ever finished :p

Same, it needs contrast and trying to get all the white to match is a headache since the case isn't a pure white but it's more of a off white. I'm almost tempted to get the case and enclosure redone in the correct white but i like it too much.

It's a good job i had a whole load of chrome tubing left over from my last build, it's come in handy for this part as i've got more than enough spare sections and Right angles to make it look more aesthetically pleasing.

Asteria II still needs to make an appearance! Have you done more work on it since?

Ladies and Gents, i present to you MiniFusion 99% complete. I say 99% because i still have a few cables to tidy but we got there in the end! System filled, booted up and it works (not that i wasn't confident before  since i had already tested it lol).

What an incredible journey the last 5 months have been building and developing this project. From a CAD drawing and plan to the finished physical object infront of me. I managed to make some last minute changes to the fittings so make the system more uniform and compact. Wasn't happy with the top fitting poking out so much so a stubby replacement made it 100% better.

Once again, a huge thanks to all the sponsors for this project:

  • Bitspower
  • Mayhems Solutions
  • Liquid Gaming
  • Praetex Design
  • AquaCustoms
  • Xtia Design
  • Jginyue
I couldn't have done it without your generous support. Now looking forward to the next project ;):D

Don't normally like green
But will make an exception in your case lol
Probably most impressive part
Is the bits with fittings connecting parts
Not really any tolerance there they have to be
Exactly right length
Though its all very impressive as usual
Would be even better if all the shades of white were
Like the radiator
That's probably only drawback with a white build
And components from different manufacturers

It had to be green, really goes with Bitspowers Green theme from back in the day. Less so now but wanted to pay some homage towards it. If only had some green orings for some of the parts too to tie it off.

The tolerance was so tight on some of the things i had planned like the connection between the filter and the reservoir, there is literally no give. I got that absolutely bang on with my measurement.

Never thought i'd say it but for once Maths came in handy

Well here's a silly suggestion: LED strip underneath so it's sat on a pool of green light. Nothing too bright.

Here's a stupid suggestion: source some broken Razer kit and replace the blue USB ports with green ones :D

If you look behind the grill, there is a phanteks LED strip behind there :D, just no underglow... yet.

The USB ports is a nice choice though, hadn't even thought of that!

Love the B roll. If you're going to do more of it, here is your next project

I need to learn this, i have a friend who is in the Videography business who has offered to help with some of it. I have a few more things on the way for varying builds/rebuilds so will try out some new tricks for filmography, especially the B roll stuff.

@Jay85
Yeah we want to see more video
Maybe you could be the next youtube star
How abouts
A channel called Jays2pence
Worked for the other guy

I highly doubt it , seems YouTube comes with an inherent amount of drama that i definitely do not need in my life. I'm happy for people to view and appreciate the videos.

LOL Jays2pence, i like that. The UK edition in a Yorkshire accent that no one outside of the UK understands lol.

Yeah that's why I like derbuaer
Even if I can never spell his name right lol
Don't get drama and over hyped up
Just the facts

I always miss the "R" when i type his name .

Yup, stick to the facts, if its rubbish then say its rubbish. People are far too often scared of losing sponsorships if they post an honest opinion about their product.

I did the same with Bitspower, had some concerns with some of their products and voiced it to my contact. He agreed and made the effort to look into and fix the issues at hand, that's how a company should operate.
