Honestly I would rather paint it, I work with Aluminium every day so I'm sick of machining marks lol.

If you do go to polishing it then I can say that Autosol (and a LOT of work) is great for giving a chromed looking finish.

Fantastic design once again, cant wait to see it all assembled.

Its gone in for powdercoating today, soo excited to see how this comes out. Should get it back sometime before the end of the week then i can crack on with the final build.

It's not my build and therefore you must do what you want, particularly as your work is stunning. But:

Nooo don't paint it! I know the build concept kinda requires it but I think it would still look good with that part as bare metal!

:D sorry to disappoint but its gone in for paint today lol, i was hmmíng and awwing it for ages and finally decided just to go for it.

Here's a quick pic of it in bare metal with it assembled to the top case though and sorry to disappoint lol.

Though it looks great unpainted
Have to agree
After Seeing it attached painted should look better
Probably easier to photograph too
Without reflections

@BeeP His minibotpc site?
Working here

The reflections are a nightmare to photograph even with a polariser. I kinda managed it but not quite perfect, you get the idea though .

Server was briefly down for the website but its back up now. Just in the process of updating things.

looks good mate. The finish on the enclosure is really nice. I see the mayhem in the background :)

:D Good spot, got a whole bunch of mayhems coolant and other bits to get through but should have that done soonish.

I need to start looking at a rack to sort things out, i'm starting to lose track of things i've been sent.

Here we go!

Getting the build started tonight, lining up all my watercooling components next on the to do list. Might or might not need to 3D print some brackets for mounting watercooling components but i might be able to get away with it from experience.

Wow, that’s so clean. Looking forward to the final result

Soon! Shouldn't be long now till i finish this.

this is why I'm not a fan of all-white builds, it's impossible to actually match up the whites. But the main thing is the chamber and the case match, and it looks great.

Personally I'd be inclined to stealth the radiator and fans by going back to black, the two different whites are jarring to me :(

Same.. im almost tempted to give the radiator to the powdercoater to get it redone. The finish on the rad isn't great if im being honest. It's already chipped where i've put the screws in.

Cut the template for the mounting bracket tonight for the front mini distro made out of flow meters. Still need to take the meters apart to take some of the impellers out.

The Vision is coming to life, making some serious progress this week.

Don't you ever sleep lol
I will need to look at those pics
On a bigger screen later
Hard to appreciate on phone screen

If i'm working on a project and i've set myself a target, i try and hit that target before the day ends and by day end i mean before i go to sleep .

This took awhile longer than i anticipated purely because i measured incorrectly the first time and bodged it. Made a new template and got it bang on the second time.

Looks amazing and attention to detail is great. But I do agree the RAD & Fans in black against the white case would be 100% more perfect ha. Nice work though and can't wait to see the fluid through that to really pop!

Yeah indeed, im thinking the same and i'm in 2 minds in whether to get the paint redone on the radiator since the finish isn't great.

Chrome might be a good call
Depends how well the
White tubing matches the rest
Not easy to get it all same shade of white
Or even same texture white
The fittings look smooth white unlike some
Other parts

The white matches the fittings and the radiator, not the case though.

Really tempted to go chrome for this to break up the white abit.

Started the tubing runs this evening, decided to try out the Chrome tubing route to make a decision. I quite like it but still undecided whether i will stick with this route.

I'm also slightly concerned about the white tubing since it's painted on the inside as well, it might flake over timie. Something i need to address with Bitspower, painting the inside of anything is a bad idea if there is coolant running.

Is that a dried in drip of coolant
On the top of fitting coming out the rad?
Only noticed as was admiring how pure a white
Whoever painted the rad achieved

Never occurred to me the tubing would be
Painted for some reason
I just assumed the plastic was white
Yeah paint on the inside could be an issue
Could even be an issue on outside if it scratches easily
Maybe the paints sealed/lacquered?

Oh i see it now lol. No its a really tiny bitspower logo . They’re on all of the fittings.

Its brass tubing thats been coated, i assume its powdercoated but the quality isn’t great. It doesn’t scratch easily, its pretty thick but worried about the long term use.

Yeah I though it might stick out too far. Is there enough room to lower the flow meters slightly so to not need the other fitting

Unfortunately not due to the alignment with the cpu block. Only other way would be to tap the centre of flow meter for a G1/4 fitting.
