Minimum Temperature for home

17 up to 19 (if its truely baltic outside). generally turned off over night as I prefer sleeping in the cold (and the house generally only goes down to about 14 in the night anyway)

Folks on cheap deals/ able and willing to pay for it - are you considering the environmental side of things? Reducing demand has a monumental impact given how much is lost in transmission/creation.

Not really. Its actually quite funny its my gf who is big on the environment (I care but not enough to make true sacrifices) but she doesn't want it any lower.

I justify it (even though I don't have to :D) by:
-not having kids
-one car that isn't a gas guzzler/WFH
-I don't care enough for that level of sacrifice.

I like my study warm!

This is right now. 22c is where I have the car too. I'm also wearing a jumper

5c?? In the house? Surely a tent would be warmer?
Our lowest was 4.7c but we did hit -6c outside so not quite a tent :) . That’s our bedroom but we have an oil free radiator that I was putting on for a hour which brought the temp back up to a comfortable level. But to be honest once you in bed you don’t notice it. I’ve always liked my bedroom on the colder side I can’t sleep if I’m too hot.

I've got a couple of them around the house. Very useful and a nice big display. I've got one in the garage and it seemed happy last week when it was 0.5 degrees (although I assume the screen would have been pretty slow at that temp).
My neighbors bought some and it's in range of my HomeAssistant so I track their house temps too :D
