Hello all,

If you were saving (or cutting back) what would be the minimum you would need for 1 week (and not really lowering the standerd your use too).

Mine (im a student so have not got a huge expenditure):

Food: could get by on £15.
Gym: Pay monthly but works out at £7.50 a week.
Petrol: could get by on £10 a week.

So my weekly must have works out at £32.50 :)

Yours?

I doubt that 15 quid you could live on for a week for food, and not lower your standard.

Is that your minimum? Surely you could cut out the gym and lift tins of beans at home or something, I hardly see going to the gym as an essential.

In answer to your question I have no idea, I'd have to work out all the bills I have to pay.

House and car bills come to around £400 a week

before I go out , buy shopping or put petrol in the car , so £600 a week minimum if I didn't buy anything special or go on holiday  :(
