Mirroring (RAID-1) question

Can you mirror an established Vista 64 install onto an identical hard drive installed in the same PC or do you have to start from scratch?

It should work but you must install the RAID drivers before you create the RAID. Then, when you create the mirror, make sure the configured drive is the first one selected and the BIOS should copy from that to the second. Make sure you have a backup, just in case....

However, you should read this thread as installing the drivers may not be as straightforward as it is with XP.
