course but theyare hardly going to want a screen with naked peope, and yes they are naked (must have just removed it or something but the screen that had naked jessica abla on it is an example, this one will have to do), hey mum look at this screen, its great it has a naked chick on it. The image given off by having girls on the screen isn't a good one for those who aren't male.

fair enough if they didn't have naked girls on the screens they probably wouldn't sell as much and men who buy because of hot girls are the main customers of ocuk so ocuk are doing the right thing, however just i am not one of those people and neither are many of my family members so when choosing a screen for someone else i'd go else where.

disagree with me all you want but my opinion is my opinion which i am sure is well justified

Fair enough, but most mothers in 2007 aren't prudent enough to be bothered about a bit of skin. Its nothing more than you'd see on a billboard or on a display for womens products in a high street shop. And those pictures are much bigger than these!

So are you saying that you wouldn't buy something from OCUK, even if it was cheaper, just because of those pics? Everything I buy, I look on the manufacturers website for more information and full specification (i'd assume everyone does if they are spending a substantial amount of monies?), why not show family members the manufacturers site if it bothers you so much?

Click, click, type isn't too much to do is it?

And yes of course you are obviously entitled to your opinion, just as anybody is entitled to contest it with their own. Just seems that you are cutting your nose off to spite your face, purely because of some insignificant pictures that are about the size of a Christmas postage stamp!

Maybe OCUK needs an Adult Shop with near naked people on the Monitors and stuff.

And a Child and mum friendly on With no naked girls selling the Good :)

Perfectly put.

More scantily clad women please.

But it's not really an opinion. It's more like a matter of attitudes and behaviour.

Even if most mothers aren't prudish, going to another website is easy, you see this kind of thing on the beach, etc., all those points are irrelevant. The fact of the matter is that some people (including myself) might feel awkward and this could then affect how we use Overclockers.

Whether you feel the same or not, it's important for Overclockers to realise how such imagery can effect the buying habits of consumers and the posts in this thread are going to do that.

p.s. "all this fuss" is generated from me by coursework avoidance :D
