I'm with McD, GoW wasn't THAT fantastic. I bought it when I got my 360 at Christmas, and apart from playing the co-op though and a small bit of DM about a month ago it's been sat at the bottom of my pile of games since I first finished it.

Repetative, linear, short, and annoying.

Trust me, keep it. You'll love it and the multiplayer is great fun. Besides forza 2 Its the only game ive kept, the rest ive sold on.

The multiplayer is still going strong and I think a lot of people will go back to it (if they have stopped playing) to try out the new maps when they become free.
That is still a couple of months away tho

Enjoyed both of them, only gripe is with GOW being to short and lacking any real story but still great fun to play

I'd probably say condemned was the better game tho, even without MP it's a fine game and I can't wait to play the 2nd one when it comes out.

Although I thought online CO-OP was excellent I never got on with the MP side of GOW, 8 players just didn't seem enough IMO..

Both great games, and a real example of what the 360 can produce.

although i dont have a 360 any more, gears of war, although having good graphics wasent really a good game. The graphics made it feel good for a bit.

people that have it, just think what that game would be like with ps2ish graphics, it wouldbe awful, just like the gameplay is anyway.

Multiplayer is way overated aswell, 4v4 boringness.

condemned is 5 times better than gears will ever be.

How can you talk with headphones on?

GoW is far more enjoyable with a decent 5.1 setup where you can physically feel the bass and hear exactly where things are coming from.

I'm indifferent about Sony and played online for a couple of weeks straight with friends, just never floated my boat. The mp side of things didn't bring anything new imo.

Agreed. I really do fail to see why it has been the No.1 Xbox Live title since release. Rainbow 6 is far superior online.

Yeah I am one of those, never played the coop although I thought online was shockingly bad. I don't have many 'real' friends that have a 360 which poses a slight problem.
