Ive been enjoying msx recently too, specifically the hyper sports games which i coveted on the msx when i was kid i had forgotten all about them as they were quite an offshoot from the classic hyper sports/track and field games.
PSX core with sound on one memory now for a lot of stuff, i was trying out parappa with it, this game has not been emulated well by sony on the rerease so it was nice to play it lag free again, though the audio messed up on the second stage.

you don’t need To sign up to use the nightly builds, I do but you are free to try them, the pateon doesn’t really give any benefits
Just wondering what are people using as keyboards for their MiSTers?
Today I took delivery of a keycap set to improve my fairly cheap Drevo Calibur V2 keyboard I've been using with MiSTer. The Calibur V2 works for me in that it's a 60% keyboard but include a few extra keys for arrows, delete etc. which are really useful. However it includes pretty horrible ABS plastic keycaps. So rather than just go out an buy a new keyboard, my aim was to find some keycaps that gave it a more retro vibe.
I think I succeeded but ending up creating a fairly boring looking keyboard.
I use a old looking keyboard does the job
It’s a bit spongey but it looks the part with the Phillips brilliance monitor I’m using, I’ve also ordered one of the new Amiga 2 button usb mouses that are out end of next month to finish it off
I have a mister setup in my living room (the mistercade one so it looks quite consoley) - i just use button shortcuts for that one.
That’s strange, I have the pax core running on both my misters ok, if the bios isn’t right you don’t get the splash screen so guessing that’s not the problem , I use bin cue but I’ll switch over to chd now they work
Weirdly I deleted my older builds and downloaded the latest and im getting the problem you had now , I’m just downloading the chds to try

Ive got a mistercade and a basic plastic case for my two misters. Mistercade is good if you dont already have all the bits, otherwise a bit expensive, its mini itx though so you can use any case with that.
depends what io board you have, theres several that are mini itx.
They said Playstation and Saturn would never be done but here we are, playstation is 99% perfect now, Saturn is a bit delayed due to the developer being in Ukraine, despite that he got the 32x core out recently.
It wouldnt surprise me if we got an N64 core, I think thats all thats going to be missing really, it may have to use a hybrid with a pi though, guess we wait and see.

is that a 9" PVM?
I use a diamontron (trinitron) phillips monitor at 120hz, lovely big scanlines, ive never seen a PVM in action though ive been tempted a few times to get one.

Nooo, there’s no audio on it, I use bookshelf speakers.
I also have another mister in my arcade cab but I rarely use it, looks so much better on the monitor

They all do the same thing basically it just depends what form factor you want. Ive got a multicade and a regular mister.
No reason to keep them out with a mister, you can literally play every 8 and 16 bit computer and console perfectly and now some 32 bit consoles, Jaguar core is in development too and hopefully 3DO on the horizon, Saturn should be complete sometime this year also.
you will want an inline power switch - i got one off ebay that has a little rocker switch that converts one into two which looks much neater than the light style switches that are more common.
