So are you saying you think you should be allowed two 7 day bumps?
TC.
Unlimited like the 24hr rule, but Doesn't need to be every 7days maybe every 14 days, lot of people only look at mm on or after pay day and pretty much no one looks past first 2 pages.

I go to page 3
seriously
Thanks for the heads up but a bad idea imo.
Bumping only serves to iritate other users, provoking them to bump too and before you know it we have a page full of bumps diluting the sale section for potential buyers.
If the sale got missed first time around, drop the price by £1! Is it really that difficult?
If people want to 'bump' their post back up to the top then lift the restriction on price drops per 24hrs. That way users are 'paying' for the privilidge of having their sale thread in the best position which will also benifit buyers because the prices will be lower.
Allowing bumping, even it is after 7 days, isn't needed and will confuse more people than it helps.
If the sellers follow the rules though the bump will show up as a "7 day bump" though so it should be ok. Any other bumps will be penalised.
.I've just ventured into MM and personally think I have a good idea.
I clicked on at least 5 threads where all the stuff had been sold and it pee'd me off so why not either:
a) delete the thread
b) Write sold in the thread title
I just wanted to make a quick comment regarding the above, whereby someone has been suspended but from an outside point of view (i.e. the member is not part of the moderating team) it seems as if the suspension was unwarranted. People who are not part of the moderating team do not have access to the information which the administrators and moderators have access too and therefore, whilst as a member of the forums it may come across as an unwarranted suspension, it most likely isn't due to that members history. Please do not judge unless you have access to all of the relevant information.![]()

i recently saw someone get banned, with the reason given as 'no price drop bumps within 24 hours' (or similar) to someone who did it within a few mins of it being 24 hours. What other information is needed? the thead had the OP and the bump, that was it

You can close your own threads in there iirc.
You can close your own threads in there iirc.
Even so it still means you have to open them to see they are closed.
If OPs can close and open threads then surely they must have the rights to type CLOSED in the thread title and then remove CLOSED if something goes wrong with the deal.
It was just a thought.
If you look to the right of your thread and see the the padlock sign then you know it's locked and you do not need to enter the thread. For example if you look in GD at the stickies at the top you can see they are locked.
