I'm there.

Come on westy! :D

Let's see what that 205D can do

Yep, 19th March is looking like a possible date so far.

andi, are you going to get a lift down with me this time? Bit silly you don't come considering how close we live to each other.

I think he wants to get to the meet and not break down before it. ;)

Joke

Guess I better bring my battery charger again if I come. :p

I think the best plan of attack is to continue the mm3 meet in Yorkshire (keeps Gilly happy if i say that), then maybe think of a wider North west meet for later on in the year.

I know im being lazy but the Manchester meets are all planned the same as the first one, this makes it very easy to organise others, and hence why we are on our third meet in less than a year. I think excluding rr days this is the most popular and frequent motors meet. Its a great turnout all the time with a great bunch of people attending. I would hate to change a working recipe and risk making a mess up of it.

I hope people can understand where i am coming from as if the format changed all the time it would be major hassle, for me and the other organisers. So in summary MM3 will be in March and there will hopefully continue to bee mm meets, and we shall look into the possibility of organisng a larger Northwest meet as well.

Cheers for reading my long boring post :)

LOL :D

Don't worry, I'm coming prepared this time. 2 batteries, jump leads, coolant, oil, brake pads... hehe.

Hoping to get the CTS sensor replaced in a few weeks so that's going to cure my hesitant starts and crap running in the cold. Just ask cymatty how bad the car sounded when I tried revving it from cold the other day :o It sounded like a 350,000 mile A reg Escort :o

Si, I think the route you planned for the previous MM's is perfect. Sure, it may get a bit tiresome doing the same route, but at least those who've been there before can show the n00bs how to do it  Also, it's dead easy to get to being just off the motorway. As we've seen at the previous meets to, there's fun to be had both before and after the meal.

I honestly dont see it being lazy, it just means it happens without messing about, all we have to discuss & arrange is the date.

The meeting point is perfect,
the pub is perfect,
the route is perfect,
the half-way pub is perfect.
Plus it's a very easy location to give passenger rides & photography opportunitys.

With Donington, Rolling Road, Silverstone GT day, regular Southampton meets & a proposed Wales trip ( ) there are plenty of opportunitys for members further South to meet up with OcUK motors members.

Hope that makes sense & like Cymatty, cheers for reading the waffle! ;)
