Not started, university had to come first unfortunately. However engine is coming out this Saturday. I will strip it during the week to assess the damage.

On a lighter note. I have been slowly building up the new shiny bits for it and found a machine shop on recommendation.

August i think is still achievable. I intend to make it to the RR but probably wont run as the new engine wont be run in by then i dont think.
 
if the weather is anything like it was this weekend

drinking. preferably coke with lots of ice if your driving. Beer if your a passenger :D
 
We take people out for passenger rides to erm... check out the scenery on some choice roads.

Tip, only children and AGW should sit in the back of cymattys Celica.

Had a good day last time, still have the same slow inadequate car though so won't bother unless the weather is glorious, it's nice up there.

Is it possible to get onto the east bound services when heading west bound or will I need to double back at J18?
 
I'll stay clear of this one, mainly because I don't have a car worthy enough any more, and also both times I've been the weather has been totally naff, so I'm just a bad omen :( :p

The roads really are fantastic though and well worth the drive!

Don't be stupid. "Car not worthy enough" is not an excuse. We appreciate all makes and marques and its also an oppertunity to get rides in other peoples cars you may not have the oppertunity to otherwise like AGWs OAP bus.
 
AGWs OAP bus that will probably be quicker in a straight line than stuff much more expensive since it had its new turbo ;)
 
I'd take the accolade of OAP bus with my turquoise volvo 850 anyway :D, nah I know what you're saying though.

Can I use the slightly more watertight excuse of the due date for my gf for our baby is the following day? lol

:D Those huge buckets in the back are pretty uncomfortable actually, even for me!

You can get through from the west side. Can't remember EXACTLY where it is but there is a pass-through.
 
I'm up for this again....Just hope theres no old biddys this time saying I cannot park in front of their house :p
