its not of any relevance the back end went right and slid, possibly due to lift off oversteer (do type Rs do this??)

so front grip wasnt the problem.

No they're right. Pointing floorward at the front side is correct.

The wheel on the left would be rotating anticlockwise if the car was the right way up and not broken, so they are indeed correct.
