I had more power than the corsa too, but he was repping the diesel power with me so I'll just pick on the mondeo's :D

when i first pulled onto the motorway i started to feel a slight vibration coming from the front left wheel

pulled over, checked for it being flat etc.. and turned it about a bit. looked fine

pulled off, caught up with you guys and started getting worse. Thought i better pull over (you guys passed me at this point) and it occured to me to check my wheel nuts.

Hadn't tightened them properly after cleaning my wheels yesterday and they had come loose by about a 1/4 turn of the torque wrench. Tightened them all up a bit more and all fine again.

Arhh right, I was just going off the picture :) ...seeing your ST220 pictured like that, makes me miss mine a bit now, especially the way it looked and the noise it made under hard acceleration. I need a 5 car garage and a lot more money really, damn it.

I am still convinced it's engine is heading for a majorly expensive failure though, and I did the right thing. The tapping noise it was making was getting worse.

i said that, but peter said my car was pulling away from his and that he thinks his car is closer to 220, so im not going to argue with him :p
 
they're not even remotely trackday tyres mrlol, they're yokohama's all weather performance tyre :s

also, whatve i told you about msn? ;)
 
They were just legal when I set off. They aren't now although they felt OK on the road but I sat about 2 miles behind the cars in front at 60mph on the way home. Got some Ultrac Sesseantas going on on Tuesday.
