MMORPG just why?

Sims 1 + 2 are the best selling games, get your facts right people :D

At least on the PC anyway. Going by WoW logic, I suppose that sims is the best game out there, even better than WoW!

I cant wait for Aion to go FTP in february though.

Oh, and also according to WoW logic, Britney Spears is the bestest singer ever :D

That's not WoW logic, that's jay794's logic. WoW as a game is hugely flawed in many, many ways, yet people continue to pay monthly subs because it's very enjoyable despite that. Still, it's far from the best game I've ever played, and the vast majority of players would share the same opinion.

Also, please don't take this ans an invitation to spin off on your "subscription model" rant again. If you really have to, just post a link to one of your previous rants on the subject and leave it at that.

You think the new cod is good and skyrim is bad? That alone speaks volumes. Your argument for anything game related is invalid, forever.

Quoted for absolute truth.

Now i know almost everyone on here has Runescape down as a rubbish kiddies game, but when you compare it to WoW, EVE and most other popular MMOs the quests are actually brilliant. They actually involve you in a mostly well written story with good characters, to the extent that some of the better quests would make a good game on their own merit.

Why are MMORPGs so boring, grindy and lonely?

I have wasted £60 on SWTOR for nothing :/ What is the point of playing if thats the depth of the game?

What is this £60 you speak of? It was £30 when I coughed up.

You not tried the flashpoints (small dungeon* run) or warzones (capture the flag etc)? They aren't spectacular but I've enjoyed em so far.

If you only do the main story line its not that dissimilar to the original SWTOR games. I think you are expecting too much tbh. Got sucked in by the hype.

Um, you know a lot of Runescapes quests are just parodies of films/books/etc right? And those that aren't are wonderfully mediocre.
And I played as a member so yeah, I do know what I'm talking about.
Fun though :)

Play an MMORPG enough to get to the real game content and then see if you change your mind as the games are completely different.
