Mobile 8800

WEll rang tosh and there saying the model i want is discontinued, my only quarm with that Rock one is the HD space, 100gig is tiny considering 40gig is the Vista Install.

Also found a shop that does that Tosh one for £1299 which is hundred under my £1400 budget (i'd like to stay to £1400 as much as possible)

thats what I thought, but that isn't what original poster had written :)

never mind it seems fast enough with the video bios flash

Did you get your work to pay for it, it wouldnt be like you to put your hands in your pocket yourself for something that flash :p

firstly, sorry for the off topic to op

swapped my M70 for an M90 [m70 cost me £500)], upgraded to t7400 [£190] did a swap [all above board] with a works laptop to get the fx2500

so all in cost me ~£700, and I have the full 3 year dell warranty :), one of the few perks of my dual role with employer :)
