Model Railways

ISTR you can go one smaller than N gauge - I can remember a bloke exhibiting his layout in something not much bigger than a briefcase.
They get insanely small. T Gauge is the smallest. HO is the "standard" train set you can buy.

Most men of a certain type. I don’t think most men in general do.
We have an entire department that deals purely with where our assets cross railways.
The senior manager is an utter trainiac, who spends every possible moment trying to prove to Network Rail employees that he knows more about their trains than they do.
There is one woman in the team, who specifically wanted to join this department, and loves trains... but also loves anything involving engineering and vehicles.

The remaining 21 staff, men of all ages including the trainiac's own son, just wish the ground would open up and swallow them (or the trainiac) whole!! :D

My uncle has been into model trains as long as I can remember.

His loft is converted into a giant model railway, was up there on boxing day with him and its absolutely crazy. I'll find some photos of it later.
Its awesome to see, there's so many, theres thousands upon thousands of pounds of trains and track up there.
