Modern gaming terms that annoy you and make no sense

you joined in with 2 kids to bait one of your own team? you (and the other 2 scrotes) are the disease that needs eradicating from online gaming.

yeah it was hilarious i waited for about 8 rounds to pass and i told the guy the more you react the more they are going to do it. but he kept on biting and he was going off his top. we were going to lose the game badly what options did i have? i reported both of them and then i started baiting the guy too. i might as well get some fun out of the hour wasted.

Wow. You reported them then started baiting the guy yourself. Proud moment for you I imagine. Think I’d have been turning the pc off or moving to a different game before wasting an hour of my time.

When people in a fps say GG for good game, at the end of a round which one side won by an absolute landslide, which is the exact opposite of a good game imo, a good win yes but not a good game.

I compare it to a football match, a 5-4 win is a good game imo, a 5-0 win is a good win but pretty dull in terms of its rating as a game.

It's always used to rub it in, they are well aware that it wasn't a good game.

Rogue-like and Rogue-lite are very useful for me as it shows me which developers didn't bother designing levels and therefore which games I should avoid :p

Just modern gaming in general.

I'm old, at 32, bitter with how gaming has turned out.

Still, I tolerate it with a twitch in one eye, hate in the other and nostalgic memories of what once was with a shred of hope hanging on.

Soon time to go AFK and face reality.

I know the feeling. But it seems to me to be mainly online gaming that is ruined. Single player games are still fine (when the dev's bother their holes to actually make a single player element to the game, of course. Easier to just do the multiplayer maps and let the kids run riot in them and not even bother with the design and AI and set pieces and story and characters and stuff.

Grrr, now I'm going home to my ham radio and to shake a stick at the youth of today. That and Borderlands 2 and maybe some Hitman 2 - I will pretend that Sean Bean is the CEO of Treyarch - not going to bother with the main part fot he game Sean, no? Here look at this pen on the table...
