Modern Warfare 2 PS3 MP Arranging Thread !

Just wanted to thank rp2000 and the rest for the excellent games tonight. Notable mentions to stella, tony620, dinakin and a few others ive forgotten the names of for an excellent nights gaming.

Ordering a headseat as we speak. Feel so left out being the only one without.:)

Bear in mind you can use USB plug and play headsets (if you have one floating about), the voice quality will be almost as good (maybe better).

what you need is the SPAS12

its supposed to be your alternate weapon. But i have exactly your playing style, but use the shotgun as primary weapon.

One shot kills if you're close enough. Just keep running, keep mobile and get near to your opponents.

they wont know what hit em :D
 
so guys whats the best way to pair a headset?

i done it via wireless the other night, it seemed ok? , could you hear me ok in the lobby rp2000 when i was chating to you ?

*edit* also when ingame and you see other players on your team mic symbol's appear on the left when they say something , when i said something nothing appeared there. is that because my mic does'nt show up on my screen ,but other players it does?

I noticed a "Voice" settings in the menu yesterday. Maybe this is how to lower the volume/gain for people with exceptionally loud feedback on their official PS3 headsets.

There is also an Echo Cancel mode when you turn off HQ mode. Can't remember where it is but look in the usual places and you'll find it.
 
I've found that I rarely have to look down the sights this time around with Steady Aim Pro equipped. The majority of my kills are now from the hip which gives an advantage over those that take the time to aim first.

Which weapon do you use? I just can't shoot from the hip, instinctively I press the zoom button, and POW I am killed :) The weird thing is the people killing me are usually zooming as well (as seen from their killcam).

Do any weapons zoom faster than others, and do any weapons have good crosshair etc from the hip? I am using the M4A1 and the UMP45 mainly.

I'm using the FAMAS atm but as soon as I get the M16A4, I'll be switching to is.
 
With the red dot sight or the holographic one the zoom is pretty much instant. With an ACOG scope though I always fire at the hip as you just can't see anything + the zoom takes too long at close range.
