Yes, there's a picture mode in Character creation. Works the same as the Preview mode on track creation. It should end up in your Photos under XMB, transfer to a pen drive and onto PC and voila.

I'm sure I saw a photo option in the pause menu. Didn't actually try it though.
 
Just been playing it.. Loving the game, Apart from leading for close to 3 laps all the time.. then getting owned last couple of corners and coming 5th or something. I HATE WEAPONS in race games.

All my hard work for nowt.

Dunno if i will bother buying it.

Edit:

(Saying I hate weapons in racing games.. I love wipeout, Yet this just feels unbalanced some how)

Been playing all day, great game. Just need to sort the load times and give me a mute option. Creation is great :), so much stuff locked though, will be so much better in full game with everything to build with :).
 
Awesome game, I'm loving it. The editor is great and the racing feels like a modern Mario Kart. It's a bit laggy and slows down a bit at times, but then it's a beta that 100k people just downloaded so I guess it's not too bad. Will be following this one very closely. :)
 
So did anyone figure out a way of changing the camera? I found it too close to back of the kart.

Still don't think the actual racing is up to scratch.
 
I think your right Nismo the Karts feel too weighty and loose for my tastes, I prefer the feeling of MK where your Karts are more bolted to the floor.

I still have my eye on the game and the racing would be enjoyable if it werent for the framerate issues, lobby lag and horrid loading screens.

Sonic & SEGA All-star racing is my other hope for a good HD kart racer.
 
now no longer a pre-order.

poor car controls for what i thought would be a fun kart game.

others are making very good use of the creation tools and i can now see this being more about people posting character/car designs than the actual gameplay.

sorry, not fun to play. beta deleted.
 
Well i,ll have to buy it,my grandson loves it,he even had a few races online earlier,and won the meeting,however its worded.
Not bad for a child of,3 years,and 5 months,lol.
 
Just had a go on this. Is it made by the same people that did LBP? Some bits look very similar.

I'm not someone who's generally bothered with having to have 60FPS or anything like that, but the framerate on this is terrible. :/

Camera's a bit low/close too.
