If you have space on the SSD it might be worth moving the game to the SSD, just to rule out an i/o bottleneck if nothing else.

Is it only this game that's causing a problem?

Passed at 98.7%. Yes this is the only game I have problems but it seems to be from when I changed the GPU so that's why I think its bottlenecking. Hope I don't sound stupid but what is an I/o bottleneck

Input /output, if the game is installed on a mechanical drive, it might be struggling to pull data off it fast enough... But it's just thought, if you have space on your ssd then I'd shift it over.
I generally keep any current favourite games installed on my SSD.

Ok I will see what it runs like. If that doesn't fix it what do you think upgrade to a better cpu and then get a monitor for 1440p gaming? Do the results on my firestrike look normal?

The picture doesn't really tell much, can you run cinebench and 3d mark time spy and give the score?

Cinebench OpenGL= 104.21 fps
Cinebench CPU= 516cb
Timespy= GPU score 5897 - Test 1= 38.18FPS - Test 2= 34.01FPS
CPU Score= 3339 -11.22FPS

@mattyfez you make anything out of these scores?

So as I have stated in the battlefield 1 pc games thread my system seems to be struggling to run this game. CPU always 100% on 64man conquest as this is the main mode I play I'm wanting to sort this out. A lot have suggested to either upgrade my monitor to a 1440p display or upgrade my CPU was wondering what most people think as there hasn't been any replies for a day or so. Been looking at AMD Ryzen due to the extra threads but heard they have problems with Ram Memory not being hit with certain boards anything else they struggle with. I'll up my budget to around £900 to sort my system out and just for quick reference here is my build again used on a 1080p monitor which I would like to upgrade at some point but would like to sort out other components first.

Intel Core i5-6500 3.20GHz (Skylake) Socket LGA1151 Processor - Retail
Asus H110M-K Intel H110 (Socket 1151) DDR4 Micro ATX Motherboard
Geforce GTX 1070 ROG Strix GPU
Team Group Elite 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 PC4-19200C16 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black
Cougar GX-S 550W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply

How about this?? Not sure which CPU to go for e.g 1500,1600,1600x or 1700, also found a 1440p monitor to go with it. Would the ram I have be suitable for it and add 8GB more or better off selling the ram and buying some new 16GB at faster speed. Also would need a cooler for it if people would like to input on that

Can the gurus give insight on this upgrade for my pc please not sure what motherboard will go best with the CPU and RAM also it states on CPU cooler to check that the original backplate of motherboard is included??? Would my PSU I already have be ok or would I need a higher Watt? To be run with a GTX 1070 already have windows SSD and HDD.
