Well, I think redbull fell asleep, ferrari fell asleep to cover them, and McLaren are subtly letting hammie know that they prefer the less hot headed attitude of button.

Since when do we have live timings, the times between cars are changing every few seconds and not just at the end of each sector.

Do you mean the times between them at the bottom of the screen updating every few seconds? Yes, well that's been happening for every race this season, potentially I recall it last season, latter few races.

For a while now. There's only 3 sectors, but there is several timing points around the track
