Monaco Grand Prix 2011, Monte-Carlo - Race 6/19

To be fair, if it was a footballer driving the car, there would be a slurry of expletives. The fact that more F1 drivers don't swear during the heat of battle, is commendable.

they do well to keep it in.

although i think lewis had to try extra hard that race.

"lewis we have a drive through penalty for causing a collision"

"suprise suprise, i know them stewards love me really."

followed by

"that -bleep- just hit my frickin rear wing"

webber did let slip a sweary tho after his stop that went wrong.

Think you'll find that F1 drivers will be swearing plenty in the cockpit, just not over the radio.

You probably see more swearing in F1 than football tbh, giving the finger mid race, radio comms with swearies bleeped out and the odd post race interview.

Webber does liek to throw a few f-bombs around. Remember his rant about 'the kids' at Fuji 2008? And he's been caught swearing a few times in the pre-podium bit, where the drivers go to sponsor-whore themselves up.

Still, it's not like they're being obnoxious morons and running straight up to the camera after getting out of the car, shouting "WHAT? ******* WHAT?".

whats going on there? did they not want to qualify?

looked like they were crashing on purpose.

and in the race edit does hamilton call schui a 'sterling driver' right after the pass on him?

why dont they play the good radio edits in the race :p you could tell hamilton getting more and more ****** off as the race went on.

Insightful race edit. But can you blame Lewis? It seems so clear now that his car was a magnet for idiots during that race.

He put himself in that position when he screwed up in Q3. He shouldn't have abandoned his first timed lap as Massa was not in the way, and he quite rightly had his other timed lap deleted for hopping the chicane. So he started back in the pack, and duly hit virtually everything that moved during the course of his Sunday afternoon.

Not all of what happened to him through the race weekend was his fault, obviously. But the hash he made of qualifying? Pretty much all his fault.

from the video edit it looks as if he said it just after overtaking schumacher into turn 1.

oddly enough it was schui who gave him space where as the guy previously overtaken at the same spot didnt.

schumacher also overtook hamilton cleanly at the hairpin where as hamilton prety much used massa as a guide rail.

i dont know how hamilton can call anyone a dirty driver in monaco :S

Because he's The Messiah™ and has never, ever done a damned thing wrong in F1 ever ever. Ever.

Ever.

Amen.

;)

/quick exit

Do you not get bored of saying the same crap over and over again?

You're the only person who seems to quote "the messiah" with overwhelming regularity, its utterly tedious and really not funny in anyway whatsoever.

All I hear is a faint buzzing....:)

FYI, Dr. Pain - the last time I even posted the word "Messiah™" before that post that so offended you was the 1st of July, at 23:04. Before that, you have to go back to June 2010. It's not like I say it over and over and over. I mean, I went a whole year without even mentioning it! But if my tweaking of the press and public hysteria about Lewis early on in his career really does upset you that much, stick me on your ignore list.
