Brilliant race so far.

Vast improvement over the early 90s when the local broadcaster provided the feed. BBC used to make a good job of it, others countries like Mexico and Brazil were terrible.

God yes. I remember some of those. A whole race following nothing but the local drivers.

Repairs and tyre changes underway.

Any broken bits will be replaced, any manky tyres will be swapped. 32 laps... Can just manage that on the super softs if you're feeling a bit brave.

They have to allow it I suppose, as red flags tend to be for rain.

Not really, it should be completely situational. You have to start the race on the same tyres you qualified on under the rules, however there is an exception for weather.
They should clearly do the same thing for a red flag situation, it's absolutely bonkers that they don't...

Might not bother watching the rest, since I'm only on a poor quality stream anyway, and just catch the highlights later.
