Never any chance there was gonna be a proper start sadly, how many wet standing starts has there been in the last 5 years? Probably none.

If they don't do it at the mega wide run off circuits not a hope of it here. Probably be on slicks before we get any racing!

If the floor was completely flat then there'd be less issues as they would run the car slightly higher in the wet, as they used to. Also the wet tyres raise the car slightly anyway as the diameter is larger due to the tread pattern.

If there was no plank they would just run the whole car lower. They need to have skids that serve the same purpose as the plank, but that are small and strategically placed.

If they allowed non flat floors so the teams could use proper ground effects it would also help.
 
Surprised Kvyat did not roll the dice with steering wheel swap and try inters, nothing to lose under SC and at the back.
