Fun session FP2. I do like the shorter sessions, and I like this track for a time trial. It's only interesting in the race when there are lots of crashes. interesting that Sainz set his time on the hard tyre

Usually Monaco highlights could be 10 minutes. And it would cover everything. This track is the worst.

I think Monaco qualifying is spectacular, watching drivers right on the edge and shaving the barriers.

I suppose rain could have mixed up the grid a bit, but even in the dry qualifying is certainly the highlight of the weekend and in my opinion one of the best sessions of the season.

If we get rain, then it would be better in the race, where the chance of an overtake goes from approximately 0% to 5%.

I know it rarely produces a good race, but I still love the challenge of Monaco. It's one of the few track that separates the ordinary from the good. It's what convinced me as a young child that I could never be an F1 driver, with a camera on the end-plate of a 1994 or 95 Ferrari (Berger's in 95 I think) as the he danced the car between the barriers. Less of that now and the track is a touch easier with some of the barriers moved back, but it's still brilliant to watch for any motorsport purist.

Yeah for me Monaco is all about Saturday. The race is often very boring but it's amazing seeing the drivers push it to the limit and risk it all between the barriers!

I certainly agree about Monaco Quali. I was thinking more about the race, but I also don't think a damp track would detract from Quali.
