Haven't decided about 3D myself, but suspect it's the future.

What is your old rig?

Nothing of interest....
An Athlon x64, and an HD 4650.

Awful compared to what I have now, but ample for a MAME rig.

Can I ask how you get it to show so much info on the Performance Info and Tools page?

In 'control panel', go to 'system'. In the 'system' window will be your 'system rating' and next to it will be a clickable link that says "Windows Experience Index".

Click that and you'll get the 'Performance information and tools' page and on the very right, below your score, it will have another clickable "view and print detaialed performance and system information".

Click it.
