i would be more concerned about not being able to trust my parents than the cash
Idd.
Move out.
i would be more concerned about not being able to trust my parents than the cash
I can't imagine living in a world where I can't trust my parents to not steal from me![]()
Same. If I was in your situation and my Mum was the only person in the house with my money I still wouldn't think it was her.
And i'm the same too, if someone said, don't worry it was those bloody theiving bats that fly into peoples house and take money, i would have belived it more. At the moment in time it seems the only logical explaination that it was my parents.
If you're absolutely certain, I mean along the lines of 800% sure, then carefully ask them if they've seen any money around the house.
I really don't think it's worth risking getting chucked out for though.
I don't think i will risk it. The thing is he saw me put the money in my wallet and he then asked about the money and gave me a questioning about it. I am seriously annoyed and i think it's time to move out. I've got everything neatly stored in storage boxes around the house, i could just chuck it all in the car and be on my way. I'm sick of my parents, the both of them disgust me, right down to the way they eat.
learn your lesson and hide your money or take greater care of it. Keep the peace and then move out when it is convenient.
Edit: yes it sucks but let's hope things will improve for the better![]()
Maybe he was concerned you were using the money for drugs.
Well, You obviously need to ask at the very least and judge the reaction.
Strange really, you would think being well off its not the sort of thing they would do.
I could imagine if you lived in Wood Green and your parents were dealing crack, but thts not the case!
You could try to embarass them into giving it back saying you needed the money to pay for something really important (car tax, hooker or teenage bride!) see if they give some sort of No Swearing! excuse and give it back, failing that its time to invest in a cheap web cam and find out for real.
I think the problem is you can't count. This weeked I took £100 from my cash box on Saturday afternoon to put in my wallet so I can fill up my car and buy some odds and ends. I have just checked my wallet only to find the £40 has gone missing.
I think the problem is you can't count.
Sorry, your sentence was confusing... Second question though, why did you take the money out on Saturday to only check it today?
Did you check your box/account to make sure you did take out £100? And you haven't left the house?I put it in my wallet as i was going to go out on the afternoon but never got round to it, i found out this morning when i had to pay for petrol only to find that i was £40 down.

If so then blatntly someone has taken the money, ask your parents if anyone has been in the house because some money has gone missing, then ask them if they took it for any reason.
