Monsoon Hardline Kit

Trust me to skip the last paragraph ;)

Cheers :)

Edit: Does acrylic tubing come in 13-19mm (1\2" ID - 3\4" OD)? A quick google search is telling me not.

If I have 13-19mm monsoon fittings already would I need to buy a whole new set and then the inner barbs to use the acrylic tubing in my loop?

Yeah, acrylic wont work in compressions, as they don't use barbs but i think monsoon fittings for acrylic will sue the same outer compressing ring and jsut replace the inner barb with a sealing fitting, probably like the male version of EK fittings. Currently EK HD Rigid fittings are just £3 though and are really easy to use. I like the look of monsoon fittings but the full range is difficult to find here (i want light modules+acrylic for that super luminous look!). They fit the acrylic really snugly too, no worrying about it coming out despite no compressions!

Tbh 13/19mm acrylic is really overkill, that is 6mm of acrylic between the OD and your coolant! If it becomes more popular, i can see larger sizes introduced but i think most flavours of acrylic come in 10,12 10,13 and 12,16.

I will get my hands on this kit and will give the monsoon fittings a go when they are released. Acrylic tubing has only recently been available to the average watercooler and has not been used all that much, which is a shame, but time will give us more builds and innovations to admire.

Primochill do a compression range for hard tubing.
It takes a few goes when you first start out, but it's not that bad
It looks better than soft tubing in my opinion.
Wouldn't go bk to soft again

I had to postpone my build due to some end of the year stuff falling on my head (bills, bills and more bills), so I am still at planning stage.
But I bought some Primochill tube and fittings and going to try my luck with them soon.
That tool kit would come handy, but I have a lot of expenses planned for next 2 months, so will have to settle with the beer bottle for the angles :P

So guys which size would you go for 13mm or 16mm? Does it make it an easier or harder to go for the larger size?
Would like to hear from someone who may have tried both sizes.
Would love to try it out and practise some bends but would rather only buy one kit !

So any pro's / cons to the sizing?
