Monty Python reunion!

I managed to get 4 tickets for the Saturday, got them about 11am through the O2 AXS site after going through their "Waiting Room" system. Ticketmaster was absolutely useless.

It's a bit of a risk I guess, because as mentioned it could be terrible, but I didnt want to miss out..

Ditto, didn't have any problems with AXS (never used it before).

It could be crap but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see them live, first chance for me.

they blatantly said on the radio they are doing it for the money

not sure about the whole thing, lot of money , you'd expect something great for that price, but is it the same old gags being wheeled out again

Just got back from the O2. :D Fantastic event. It's not perfect, no Chapman. He does appear on film though.

Terry Jones seemed a little uninterested at times, but Idle, Palin and Cleese more than made up for it. They kept making each other corpse. Cleese was even corpsing before anyone said anything at the beginning of the show.

Gilliam was great. It's good that they gave him a bit more to do than he normally did on the TV series and movies.

There are still tickets available for the shows too. *but check Get Me In too, that's where todays ticket came from and was half the original price. Seating area B1 too. Ordered yesterday, arrived this morning. Wow*

Going again on the 20th. :D Final farewell.

DVD/Bluray comes out in November.

The show in general appears to have been received well - with the exception of the Daily Mail hack "Quentin Letts" who has now posted four seperate stories slating the show and the Python's in general.
Wish I'd been able to get tickets - I'll have to settle for the TV showing on the final night.

Still tickets on the resale sites. I have a couple on there now pretty much at face value which is still a 3 figure sum per ticket but there are cheaper ones on them if you really wanted to go.

I've got one for tomorrow (last minute dropout), it's up on Stubhub but there are around 250+ so don't expect it to go.

lol..tickets sold out in under a minute and now SKY is giving them out for half price..and the show is being advertised heavily..

why? haven't they sold out anyway? why advertise since no tickets are available? Oh, I knowwww..all the tickets have been given to intermediaries for resaling them at a higher price..nice!

Spoke to my Sister. She went on the 12th I think it was and she said it was disappointing.

about a 2/3rds of the show was Animation or Video footage the other third was them doing their stuff. They wheeled Matt Lucas onto the stage at one point which she said she had no idea what that was all about :)

So overall she didn't think it was outstanding. They paid about £250 way back at xmas.
