Monzo/Starling Banking/Revolut

I'm really excited to make the switch. We should have completed our house purchase fairly soon and as soon as we get the keys I'm going to start the process.

I do wish they'd (Monzo) would look at returning the attempt of doing account benefits. That's the only thing keeping me tied to Natwest at the moment

Ace shall read now.

It's really annoying they haven't found a way to bundle in phone insurance for a bank that works... only through a phone. It's only my natwest benefits (phone/holiday insurance and breakdown cover) preventing me from leaving and if Monzo offered similar things for a similar price I'd switch right away.

I used my Starling and Monzo in Holland and had no issues that I can remember from the top of my head. This was a few years back now though so things may be a bit different now. As long as they accepted card it worked just fine

Yet to fully switch to Monzo, was going to switch once we were in the house but this is a bit worrying. Do still have a starling account but never used, i just preferred the Monzo app.

Will keep an eye on all of this

I'm so conflicted on what to do. I have a starling account up and running for the last few years but haven't used it since 2018. I still need to update my name change on the account!

We've got a lot of our bills and direct debits coming out of Monzo so the new limits don't really apply to us but I have been feeling less and less certain as time moves on

I've not had any updates from Monzo about their new offerings. I only found out about Monzo premium a week or so ago swiping on accident.

I keep toying with switching to Starling as I've been using it a bit more recently but both my and my partner have all our bills coming out of Monzo and like the way it work and also most of our friends also use it which was really good for splitting bills

Does Starling have pots yet? I love that Monzo lets us pay our bills from those pots so we set and forget

It also depends how much you use Monzo for your limits.

I'm allowed to use unlimited cash withdraws within the EEA but only £200 every 30 days for international destinations

We still use Monzo for our joint account where all of our bills come out of. I've mostly been using Chase this year though as the 1% cashback on all purchases is a nice-to-have benefit. Once that ends i'll probably go full back to Monzo though. Still haven't made the full time switch of being paid into it as I like the benefits with my Natwest account but I can't remember the last time I used my Natwest account beyond sending money to my Monzo or Chase accounts.

How many of you are on Monzo+ I had the trial a few weeks back and I quite liked the temporary digital cards and it's got me tempted but not sure if it's really worth it or not

If it offered the same features as my Natwest account I'd switch
