Moon landing pictures question

What is it about broken people that attracts them to conspiracy theories? Is it some kind of feeling of injustice at perceived lies or is it more of an evangelical wish to show people 'the light' or 'the truth'?

Russian sends clown to space (trying to tell us something)

if your only evidence that man went to the moon is some scientists who say that they are bouncing lazers off it then i am sorry but you are the crazy crack pot conspiracy theorist.

The russians were fooled just like the rest of the people on the planet. But certain people within the russian government and within all top governments know the truth.

The question you should be asking is, what happend to all that nasa tax payers money....

Mythbusters is hardly reputable, they cherry picked the silliest theories and went with those.

It is very simple when you think about it in real terms. There is a reason the x prize barely left our atmosphere and that is not because of money, that is due to the fact that it is not even technically possible today to go to the moon. Once you realize, that today, we do not even have the propulsion technology or the radiation defensive technology to do a round trip to the moon. Then you realize that nasa is a pack of liars.

So the X prize barely left our atmosphere?

How about the hundreds (thousands/tens of thousands) of satellites that have left our atmosphere? or at the very least reached very high orbits?

IIRC the X prize only has a 30 million dollar prize for getting the proof that you've got a lander onto the moon.
Because it's not economically viable at this time iirc it's largely being worked on by people with very small budgets using largely specifically designed non commercial craft, and donated time/equipment from companies interested in the potential benefits of low cost launches (indeed I beleive a large part of the reason behind the various X prizes is to encourage innovation by enthusiasts, and a general interest in the tech).

The fact that they haven't done much doesn't say anything about the abilities of a national project, more about the level of funding available for the X-prize teams.

NASA on the other hand had access to military rocket designers, technicians and a budget of billions.
Every time they send the Shuttle up they are effectively a relatively small step from reaching the moon (use the same launch engines and they could probably lift more than enough for the additional rocket stage and a lander/take off module for a moon trip).

It is good to know the truth about the planet, not bad. So when i learnt the truth about that moon landings, i want to tell people about it. If you don't want to hear it, then i won't tell you.

Next time there is a solar or lunar eclipse watch carefully and marvel at how accurately they are predicted (to the second). And then wonder why we can predict these so accurately? Yes, it's all thanks to the good folks working on the Lunar Laser Ranging experiment, which wouldn't exist without a reflector on the moon, which wouldn't exist without the apollo moon landings.

Honestly mate. Read some proper data on it!

Werewolf remember you're arguing with a guy who's not only saying we never went to the moon but that the basis of all the physics to get there is a lie too.

tefel, that is my own theory that i made up myself and is not found within the moon landing truth theories. I just came to that myself and i have not actually said that in this thread.

You seem to only read conspiracy theories and not study the actual events of what happened, At least look from both sides then make a decision not sound like you have lost most of your grey matter.

Lol to the conspiracy. I really dont get peoples obsession with them, 'quick lets believe the fat bloke in his moms basement who has nothing to live for because he says something controversial and I like that' (sorry if this isnt how you reached your own conclusions but it is a pretty common theme). The moon non-landing has already been kicked into touch by GD drunks and lolzers in a few hours. The government wont reply to anymore accusations because a) its a complete minority who only look for the controversy/attention and wont listen to reason and b)they have much better things to do like put more things into space.

Its just lol, its a good day for nutters with this and the revenge of the poltergeist thread today.
